Mission Little Prince : a groundbreaking collaboration between Interstellar Lab and The Antoine de Saint Exupéry Foundation to grow roses on the Moon
Interstellar Lab, a revolutionary biotechnology company dedicated to the preservation of life on Earth and its expansion into space, proudly announces its partnership with the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation for an unprecedented mission: to grow roses on the Moon as part of the Mission Little Prince.
Mission Little Prince
[00:00:00]This mission transcends the boundaries of the imagination, uniting Interstellar Lab's pioneering vision with the immortal legacy of Antoine de Saint Exupéry, author of the famous masterpiece The Little Prince. By growing roses on lunar soil, the Mission Little Prince makes The Little Prince's timeless dream a reality, inspiring entire generations to explore the farthest reaches of the universe.
Interstellar Lab is committed to bringing life beyond Earth by growing flowers on the lunar surface, capturing data and images that will pave the way for a new era of space exploration. The capsules elaborated by Interstellar Lab and containing the precious flowers will be deposited on the moon by Astrolab's FLEX rover, which will travel aboard SpaceX's Starship for this historic mission scheduled for 2027. This audacious undertaking pushes back the boundaries of science and technology, opening up new avenues for exploration.
This collaboration with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation brings an artistic and educational dimension to this mission, stimulating young people's imagination and promoting the values of curiosity, open-mindedness and environmental preservation.
Since its first publication in France in 1946, The Little Prince has become a universal phenomenon, carrying Antoine de Saint Exupéry's humanist message that transcends cultural and temporal barriers, weaving deep bonds between generations and cultures the world over.
To mark the presence of life on the Moon, what better than the Little Prince's rose? To initiate the first human extraterrestrial colonization, what could be better than the beauty and innocence associated with it? A poetic approach to high technology. Antoine de Saint Exupéry had this intuition when he created asteroid B612, the Little Prince's planet. It's a message of peace and love that we're sending out to the universe. This collaboration with Interstellar Lab has a highly symbolic value for us

“As the Little Prince said : ‘if someone loves a flower, of which just one single blossom grows, in all the millions of stars, it is enough to make him happy just to look at the stars.’ We are honored to join forces with the Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse for this extraordinary mission, which will mark the history of space exploration and inspire future generations to preserve life on Earth and in space,” says Barbara Belvisi, founder and CEO of Interstellar Lab.
Interstellar Lab looks forward to the success of the Mission Little Prince and plans further groundbreaking initiatives to extend life beyond Earth. The company remains committed to pushing back the frontiers of space exploration, paving the way for a future where life and humanity can thrive beyond our home planet.
